How to watch Super Formula: schedule, line-up and more
The 2024 Super Formula season begins this weekend at Suzuka, with Ritomo Miyata, last year’s champion, moving to Formula 2. Despite Miyata’s absence, defending F2 champion Theo Pourchaire will challenge in the competitive Japanese series alongside 20 other drivers. All teams will utilize the same Dallara SF23 chassis powered by Honda or Toyota engines. The season comprises nine races, starting at Suzuka on March 10, followed by Autopolis on May 17-19. Sportsland Sugo, Fuji Speedway, Mobility Resort Motegi, and a double race at Fuji in October lead to the season finale at Suzuka on November 10.Qualifying for the Suzuka race starts on March 9 at 07:00 CET, with the race on March 10 at 06:10 CET. Motorsport.tv will broadcast Super Formula live, offering English commentary for subscribers interested in following the series. This year’s lineup includes 21 drivers from 12 teams, split evenly between Honda and Toyota engines, with Theo Pourchaire being the sole non-Japanese driver.
